$1.4 billion - the monetary value of solar panels and equipment imported from China to the United States in 2010
This is in comparison to $1.69 billion to $1.98 billion worth of solar factory raw materials imported from China to the United States in the same year. These statistics arise in relation to the recent move by the United States to place high tariffs on Chinese solar panels.
2 years - the amount of time China’s first Mars probe launch was delayed
The probe is set to be launched some time between November 8th and November 20th.
1 in 5- the amount of Chinese consumers that trust bottled beverages
The main concerns cited in regards to bottled drinks included illegal additives. Dairy products are considered the most troubling drinks.
25%- percent of Chinese women who have suffered from domestic abuse
The statistic represents domestic abuse in the forms of physical assault, deprivation of personal freedoms, illegal control of income, rape, and verbal humiliation. The survey was conducted by the All-China Women’s Federation and the National Bureau of Statistics.

This research was in light of expatriates complaining about “embarrassment” due to the small size of Chinese condoms.

The Nanchang kayaking team was disqualified from the games after intentionally ramming its boat into another team, sending one athlete to the hospital.

The association was developed by a Chinese woman who left her marriage due to a cheating husband. The association provides solace to those women who have gone through a similar situation.
29 Billion Yuan ($4.4 billion)- Amount of money invested in Shanghai Disney
The Amusement Park is scheduled to open in 2016. 43% of the funding will be provided by Disney, while the rest will be covered by the state-owned company Shanghai Shendi Group.
