Beijing Suspends Minimum Wage Adjustment

Beijing will not adjustmet the minimum wage this year but will keep it at the 800 yuan per month level set last year. Beijing's Human Resource and Social Security Bureau announced the decision on August 10 claiming the move would help promote employment and stabilize the job market.
