Oil Giants Paid 210 billion Yuan in Windfall Tax over Past 3 years

State-owned oil giants Sinopec and PetroChina, have paid up to 210 billion yuan in windfall tax over the past three years, according to Niu Li, an economist at the State Information Center. PetroChina was taxed 160 billion yuan while Sinopec handed over 53 billion yuan.
