China Expediting Mergers Between State-owned Enterprises

The State Council has issued its Guidelines to Promote State-owned Enterprise Mergers. The Guidelines provide preferential taxes, financial, capital and land policies for mergers between state-owned enterprises. Twelve ministerial agencies, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Commerce, will be responsible for implementing the preferential policies.
