Electricity Consumption Reaches 397.5 Billion Kilowatt-hours in August

China's total electricity consumption has reached 397.5 billion kilowatt-hours in August, up 14.69% from the level of the same period of last year and up 2% from that of July. The electricity consumption of the secondary industry fell by 2.1% in August from that of July, while the volume of the tertiary industry has increased by 15.1%.
