China's Power Consumption Exceeds 4 billion Megawatt-hours in 2010

Chinese power consumption grew by an average of over 11 percent per annum over the past five years, according to figures released by the China Electricity Council (CEC) on Feb 9. According to the CEC figures, power consumption for 2010 exceeded 4.19 billion megawatt-hours.
