China Shanghai Stock Exchange Plans to Quicken Pace of Expansion

At a meeting in Beijing yesterday, Geng Liang, the chairman of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, revealed that the bourse plans to list around 50 additional companies every year over the next 5 years. Last year, only 26 additional companies were listed on the board.
