Local Governments Told to Consider Adjusting Housing Price Targets

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development yesterday issued a notice requiring local governments to seek public feedback on their published targets and to adjust their goals for limiting the pace of growth in the price of residential housing accordingly. So far, aside from Beijing, all the local governments that have released their growth targets, have stated that they aim to limit growth rates to below the rate of GDP and per-capita income growth.
