Debate as Urban Cemeteries Seek to Renew 20-year Service Contracts

As China's traditional Tomb-sweeping Day or Qingming Jie approaches, some cemeteries in Qingdao and Jinan have stirred public debate by seeking to renew expired 20-year service contracts. Debate has centered on whether these public cemeteries should collect administrative fees at all, and if they do, how much they should charge.
