Problems With Recruitment at Public Institutions Exposed
The CPC's Organization Department and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security yesterday released details of 5 cases involving violations of rules related to the recruitment of employees at public institutions around China.
The five cases included the leaking of exam questions to candidates related to current employees, the recruitment of unqualified candidates who were also related to existing employees, the setting aside of positions for the daughter of a high-level executive, conducting interviews during a meal at which alcohol was served and restricting the applicants pool to the relatives of existing employees.
The publication of these 5 cases coincided with the release of an announcement regarding efforts to increase the transparency of the recruitment process at public institutions.
