Xi Guohua, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said yesterday that the central government plans to complete the "Broadband Countryside"
program by the end of the 12th 5-year Plan, the push is part of a broader government plan to improve internet speeds across the country. Xi Guohua said that the Chinese
