We regret to announce that as of Friday Oct 25 the English website of the Economic Observer will no longer be updated.

Due to internal department restructing, the newspaper has decided to temporarily halt updating the English website. The Economic Observer hopes that in the future we will once again be able to update the site.

The English team will cease updating all our social media accounts on Friday and we sent out the final issue of our weekly newsletter earlier today.

We’ll keep the website up so that readers can continue to source content that we’ve published in the past and we’ll also publish a guide that shows people the best way to find what they’re looking for.

We would like to thank all our readers, colleagues and partners for their support over the past six and half years.

We will be sure to let readers know if we start updating the site again.
