Steel Producers in Hebei Required to Shut Down Temporarily

The 18 steel companies in Hebei Province have been required to shut down on September 5 to reduce carbon emissions. The closure will last anywhere from 20 days to a month. Aside from the steel companies, local coke plants and mining companies have also been ordered to shut down.
