Fine for Fake Value added Tax Invoices Increased to 500,000 yuan

The Executive Conference of the State Council has approved the revised Invoice Management Regulations which have increased the upper limit of fines imposed on people who write fake value added tax (VAT) invoices, fabricate, revise or transfer receipts from 50,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan. This new policy will take effect on February 1, 2011.
