Current Wage Threshold for Personal Income Tax Will Stand

Reforms to China's income tax may leave the monthly income at which personal income tax obligations kick in untouched, but will reduce the number of tax levels, expand the gap between levels, and readjust the rate of tax. Currently personal income tax is collected from Chinese citizens who earn more than 2,000 yuan or more a month.
